		<description>everything you say is so true. My husband complains each summer that I need to take time off...after all I&#039;m a 10 month employee. I really feel teaching is a &quot;life long&quot; job/career making it difficult to take the 10 weeks off &quot;they&quot; say you get. 

I do love my job though!

		<description>I also thought it would be so-cool to have summers off. In reality, I spend my summers teaching summer school. During the school year, I teach special ed. Every summer,  I tell myself wouldn&#039;t it be great to move up to the high school level and teach regular ed.  It usually takes me 2 days@5 1/2 hours per day to realize that teaching Algebra 1 to high school students is not my idea of an &quot;ideal&quot; summer.</description>

		<description>Oh, that is so true, however in Malaysia our curriculum is centralized so we don&#039;t have so much freedom in planning our curriculum. And during our so called summer break ( here, it is always summer) some of us have to invigilate exams which can drag up to three weeks and mark exam papers.</description>
